Welcome, vault-dwellers, to a culinary adventure like no other!
According to ten Vault-Tec doctors, indulging in a YumYum Brand Pure Dried Whole Deviled Egg daily keeps nuclear threats at bay!

We opened the episode with the YumYum deviled eggs, a classic in every Fallout game. Six eggs boiled for 8 minutes and dunked in ice water, then halved the long way, which went fine until one tried to slip away across the cutting board.
The yolks dropped into half a cup of mayo along with a tablespoon of miso and a whole spice rack: coriander, cumin, turmeric, mustard, cayenne and fennel. Chives were chopped and ready for plating.
Then 2 a.m. rolled around and we finally tasted one. The verdict was brutal: it kind of tastes like a 200-year-old egg. One of us suggested renaming them from YumYum to DumDum, because the miso came through way too aggressively. Some recipes are best left in the vending machine.

YumYum Deviled Eggs
Creamy miso deviled eggs warmed with cumin, turmeric, coriander and a kick of cayenne. One a day keeps the nuclear threats away.
Put the eggs in a pot, cover with water, put the lid on and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once it boils, cook for 8 minutes. Meanwhile, fill a bowl with ice water.
Run cold water into the pot to stop the cooking, then move the eggs to the ice bath. Peel once cool.
Halve the eggs lengthwise and pop the yolks into a bowl.
Mash the yolks with the mayonnaise and miso until smooth, then mix in the spices. Season with salt and pepper.
Spoon or pipe the filling back into the whites and sprinkle with chives.
The miso is the twist: it gives the filling a deep savory flavor you won't get from classic deviled eggs.
